1950s Robsjohn Gibbings for Widdicomb Walnut Extension table with 1 leave

Newly refinished walnut dining table with unusual starburst veneer top and 1 extension leave. Designed by T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for Widdicomb. USA, circa 1950s. This table can be transformed from round to elongated oval by the addition of an additional leavs. Tables measures 48 inches round without leaves, and leaf and extends an additional 12 inches, so table can be 48 round or 60. The apron is 3.5 inches thick.
